Well, the Boxarts have been revealed, and they look quite nice if I may add. Also, preordering stuff and what not. Meh.
Rakuten Online Store has updated their product lineup which now features the preorder of all 3 versions of Ryuusei no RockMan, and if that wasn't enough, the boxarts for each game, with a shiny Brother Action RPG genre mark on the top-left corner, the 20th Anniversary RockMan logo on the top-right corner (even though it's actually his 19th anniversary, but that's unchangable now) and a Nintendo WiFi logo on the bottom-left corner. Click these thumbnails for full size viewing.
These packages offers the same type of action artworks that many of the past RockMan.EXE game packages has recieved in the past, with the main protagonist displayed in the center with flashy dynamic action in the background. Looks spectacular, albeit a bit cliched, but it doesn't mean that it's bad at all. Reusing ideas for a box package can be a very exciting and cool thing, and Ryuusei no RockMan's boxart is no exception. These are typical drool-o-matic type packaging, and it's definately something to look out for upon release.
The store also reveals the Product Number for each game, which if formatted correctly turns out to be NTR-A6AJ-JPN for Pegasus, NTR-A6BJ-JPN for Leo and NTR-A6CJ-JPN for Dragon. The official price is indeed 5040yen (including tax), but for those who live in Japan and can order from Rakuten will be able to purchase it for 4080yen (excluding tax). This is not exactly the type of news to be excited about for the western side of the planet, but at least it's good to know.
Also, the benefit number you recieve from the Meteor Pendant (Ryuusei no Pendanto) will be available only in small quantities, but you can expect more info to be posted about this new preorder feature of the game later on before the actual release. However, if this information was misunderstood somehow, please let me know.
To finalize, Play-Asia is also now accepting preorders for Ryuusei no RockMan:
