Just now I was making a normal visit to the MegaMan Community forums and everything was gone leaving a message saying the following.
[
After that it said to go flame at these two sites and there were links to two other forums, so I assume Quickman is pissed off about something. So I bid the Community a farwell. It will always be remembered as the biggest MegaMan Community!

But was it the best? I doubt it. I heard it was a mess there anyway.

I think that's why Ny closed it. He said go flame on the MegaMan Network Community and Sinister Six, so I figured there was a disastrous amount of members flaming there so he closed it.

Lemme first say that I have permission to bump this thread to give a better explanation of the events that led to MMC's closing. Just so you know, there's a lot I know secondhand, so I may be inaccurate in a few ways, but I'll try to deliver the info in an unbiased fashion. Also, I'm not sure I should be sharing any of this in the first place, so I left out some more personal details. I'm fuzzy on the origins of the MMC, but from what I know it involved a takeover of PMM by NyNe and Cynix. They opened the MMC. Later, said administrators left Quickman, who had little to no experience in administrating a large forum back then in charge of the MMC, and NyNe stopped in no more than a couple of times every few months to unban stupid members, apparently to click ads and make him and Cynix money. For people who claimed to love the MegaMan franchise, they sure weren't very involved. Anyway, Quickman kept the forum running excellently. Eventually, Sprites-Inc got it's own server and promptly left. I followed it and was pretty unaware of the MMC for awhile. Then, not long upon my return, Gary, founder of the Sinister Six, the very first MegaMan team, passed away. He was the heart of the community. This... kind of led to something that got just about every staff member royally pissed at NyNe (more than usual), and most of the well known members left for good. NyNe, with his god complex and extreme whiny-ness, tried to pin it on others and then shut the MMC down. He then redirected people to the Undernet and the MegaMan Network Community in a petty attempt to rob their bandwidth or something. By the way, Quickman did nothing, despite how much she hated NyNe. Incredible self control on her part. Just saying all this so you know that it was pretty much NyNe's fault. A good deal of the pissed off people ended up at The Undernet, which is now where the MegaMan teams are being regulated.
